Crash Temporarily Closed Route 97 Near Glenelg: Howard Fire and Rescue

GLENWOOD, MD — A crash on Roxbury Mills Road/MD 97 temporarily closed the road Friday morning near the Cattail Creek Country Club, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

At 10:30 a.m., multiple crews were at the scene, where officials reported traffic was impacted; Route 97 was closed in the area of Cattail Creek Drive. Drivers were advised to use caution in the area.

The incident involved a head-on collision, according to WBAL, which reported that a medevac responded to the scene and was leaving for shock trauma after 11 a.m.

By 11:30 a.m., the crash had reportedly cleared.
