After 11:20 a.m., one lane was open in both directions of US 29 near Old Columbia Road, WTOP reported.
By 12:50 p.m., southbound US 29 was moving smoothly, while northbound was jammed at Old Columbia Road as crews worked to clean up power lines that were taken down, according to WNEW.
