Dogs Visit Columbia's Symphony Of Lights Display
Symphony of Lights welcomed four-legged visitors on Monday during its annual "Tail Lights" event for canines and their people.
COLUMBIA, MD — Canines were able to see the Symphony of Lights up close in Columbia Monday night during the annual "Tail Lights." For the special occasion, the light display was opened up for foot traffic, and dozens of four-legged friends and their people filled the park near Merriweather Post Pavilion.
Some pups donned sweaters, as it was in the 40s, and at least one wore a Santa suit; festive wear was encouraged. There was a contest for the best-dressed dog.
Normally, the 1.4-mile Symphony of Lights exhibit is open to vehicular traffic Tuesday to Sunday.
