HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Meet Patch's Adorable Adoptable Pets of the Week available from the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center.

One-year-old Dexter weighs slightly more than 50 pounds and happens to be a happy, exuberant pup who is food motivated when it comes to learning new tricks. He loves meeting new people, playing with other dogs his size and chasing a tennis ball.

Beautiful Bubbles combines cuteness and peppiness into one ball of adorableness. She loves going for walks and enjoys meeting people. She's smart but needs just a few reminders to sit for attention. Her precious curly tail will quickly win you over.

Affectionate Betsy loves her humans and at age three does wonderfully with training and learning. She can get a little nervous in new situations, but when her human is calm and confident, she adjusts quickly. She adores attention but should probably meet any future dogs in her family.

Dolly has lots of energy and enjoys playing with other dogs. At one year old, she's quite smart and has done wonderfully learning her manners.

A large and lovable 1-year-old Robin has a sweet and submissive personality, and loves to be close to her person. She used to live in a home where she had to hide under furniture to escape a child that treated her poorly, so she is afraid of children and would need an adult-only home or a home with teenagers who would be gentle with her.
