Downtown Columbia Development Featured in "Our Town" Update

Executive Director of Downtown Columbia Partnership will share plans during presentation at Residences at Vantage Point retirement community

Phillip Dodge, Executive Director of the Downtown Columbia Partnership (DTCP), launches Residences at Vantage Point Arts & Culture Collective’s Fall series of community programs with “Our Town Update,” a preview of upcoming development planned for Downtown Columbia, on Thursday, Sept. 15, 7-8 p.m., in the auditorium at Vantage Point.

Dodge will also discuss the role of the DTCP in leading the promotion and advancing the growth of Downtown Columbia as a vibrant, economically robust and desirable place for employment, entertainment, living and learning. He will talk about the Partnership’s signature events, such as Books in Bloom, Discover Downtown Columbia 5K, and Cocktail Crawls featuring area restaurants.

The Arts & Culture Collective hosts a series of programs at Residences at Vantage Point to highlight Columbia as the “campus” for residents of the retirement community. Partnerships with local institutions make the series possible, and the public is invited to attend.
