Downtown Columbia Lakefront Pathway Officially Opens

After 47 years of frustrating walkers, Lake Kittamaqundi now has a 1.5 mile loop around it.

The Columbia Association held a ribbon-cutting ceremony, officially opening the newly constructed Lake Kittamaqundi pathway loop. The long awaited 1.5 miles path allows walkers to circle the lake in Downtown Columbia. Officiating at the ribbon-cutting were (front row from l.) CA Board members Jeanne Ketley of Town Center, Nancy McCord of Wilde Lake and Russ Swatek of Long Reach and CA President Milton Matthews. Photo by Dylan Singleton
