Downtown Columbia Partnership Hosts Festive Fridays

The adults-only craft cocktail crawl is planned for Dec. 1. Family fun is set for Dec. 8 at the lakefront.

The Downtown Columbia Partnership will present two events in December at the Lakefront Promenade in Downtown Columbia.

On Friday, Dec. 1, from 5-7 p.m., the “Craft Cocktail Crawl” will feature an artisanal cocktail and delicious nibble at each stop and tented pop-up along the Lakefront. Participating restaurants include Clyde’s, Petit Louis, Seasons 52, and Cured and 18th & 21st, which are opening in the Merriweather District in Spring 2018. Tickets are $10 if purchased by Nov. 17, $15 starting Nov. 18. Tickets are limited and restricted to those 21 years and older. Purchase at http://festivefridayscocktailcrawl.eventbrite.com .

On Friday, Dec. 8, from 6-8 p.m., “Family Fun” will feature music, holiday arts and crafts, photo booth, ice sculptor, and strolling characters from Frozen and Star Wars. Refreshments include free snacks from Clyde’s and free hot chocolate and cookies from Whole Foods Market. Attendance is free of charge, but registration is requested at https://festivefridaysfamilyfun.eventbrite.com .
