Dr. Oz Coming to Columbia

The celebrity doctor will be at The Mall in Columbia for a presentation of 'The Good Life.'

Television’s Dr. Oz will be at The Mall in Columbia this weekend.

He will be delivering a presentation called “The Good Life,” including a question and answer session plus fitness and cooking demonstrations on Saturday, Aug. 29.

Here is the lineup, according to The Mall in Columbia:

  • At 10 a.m., Chef Tia will give a cooking demonstration.
  • At 11 a.m., Brick Bodies will conduct a fitness demonstration.
  • At noon, Dr. Oz will present “The Good Life.”

Seats at the Columbia event are first-come, first-serve.

Dr. Oz is known for his show on NBC that airs at 2 p.m. on weekdays and magazine filled with his lifestyle advice called The Good Life.

The doctor is a faculty member and vice chair of surgery at Columbia University; is director of cardiovascular medicine at New York Presbyterian; and became well known in the media after appearing as a health expert on the Oprah show.

The Dr. Oz presentation will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 29, at The Mall in Columbia, 10300 Little Patuxent Parkway, Columbia. Doors will open at 8 a.m., and those lining up in advance may use the entrance between JCPenney and Lord & Taylor.
