Drive-in Movie Nights This Summer At Historic Savage Mill

The showings begin at 8:30 p.m. and last until 11 p.m. every other Friday night through Aug. 28 at Historic Savage Mill.

COLUMBIA, MD — Every other Friday this summer through Aug. 28, Historic Savage Mill hosts drive-in movie nights for residents of all ages. The showings begin at 8:30 p.m. and last until 11 p.m. In order to reduce contact during the coronavirus pandemic, attendees are to print their tickets ahead of time or have them ready on a mobile device. The tickets are scanned while everyone stays inside the vehicle.

All vehicles are to be parked six feet apart. Masks are optional because people are in their vehicles, but still encouraged, according to Historic Savage Mill. Moviegoers are to remain inside their vehicles at all times. Chairs, blankets and towels are not allowed outside the vehicle. Parking is on a first come-first served basis. The movies are being shown in the west parking lot at the main entrance near Terrapin Adventures. Outside snacks and beverages are allowed.
