Expungement Clinic, Community Resource Fair Dec. 9 In Howard County

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Game Changers Expungement Clinic and Community Resource Fair will be Saturday at the Homewood Center, 10914 Clarksville Pike, in Ellicott City from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

There will be free food, door prizes, kids activities and several folks on hand to help with expungement requests. The REDEEM Act of 2023 halves the waiting period for expungements concerning no-violent convictions so individuals with felony or misdemeanor convictions can apply for expungement sooner, according to the Howard County State's Attorney's Office, which is hosting the event.

There also will be volunteers on hand to help register voters, along with free childcare provided on site. Document shredding and other community resources will be available. State's Attorney Rich Gibson also will be available for a short period of time to answer any questions.
