Fastsigns Of Columbia Gets New Owner

The business on Oakland Mills Road is the second location for the company, which started in Baltimore.

From FASTSIGNS: Local entrepreneur Tony Amador, owner of FASTSIGNS® of Downtown Baltimore, recently expanded his sign and graphics operation and acquired a second FASTSIGNS center in Columbia, which has been in business since 2012.

“At FASTSIGNS of Downtown Baltimore, we’ve experienced significant growth and success, which is attributed to our team’s dedication to high product and customer service standards,” Amador said. “I’ve always wanted to expand my business. By purchasing FASTSIGNS of Columbia, we can bring the same values, expertise and commitment to help more customers find the right signs and graphics for their business.”

Under Amador’s new ownership, Steve Lee was brought onboard as FASTSIGNS of Columbia’s new general manager. Lee has an extensive background and knowledge in graphic design, large-format printing, sign production and account management, and holds a degree in graphic communications and fine arts from Maryland College of Art & Design. Most recently, he worked as an account executive and project manager at Severn Graphics in Glen Burnie.

“I’m thrilled to join the team at FASTSIGNS of Columbia,” Lee added. “Our mission is to help local businesses, organizations and events with their visual communications strategies. Whether they need to create new branding, improve visibility, promote a new product or cause, enhance décor or stay compliant, we can provide effective and creative solutions to achieve their goals.”
