Sunday Is The Final Performance For The Candlelight Concert Society's 2021-2022 Season

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Candlelight Concert Society will complete its 2021-2022 chamber music season with a live in-person concert featuring Steven Isserlis, celloist, and Jeremy Denk, pianist, on Sunday at 3 p.m. in Linehan Hall at the University of Maryland.
British cellist Isserlis has performed with the Berlin Philharmonic, National Symphony Orchestra Washington, London Philharmonic and Zurich Tonhalle. In addition to music, his work includes writing children’s books “Why Beethoven Threw the Stew” and “Why Handel Waggled His Wig” published in 2006. Pianist Jeremy Denk will accompany Isserlis.
Tickets cost $40 per show. With the purchase of one adult ticket, an accompanying child up to age 17 will receive a ticket free of charge. Student tickets cost $10. To purchase tickets, visit CandlelightConcerts.org or call 410-997-2324.
