Fire Around Lake Kittamaqundi is Intentional: CA

The Columbia Association is alerting citizens that things may get a little heated around Lake Kittamaqundi Thursday night.

At approximately 7:30 p.m., the association will be teaming up with a local artist on an artwork incorporating a fire cauldron and flames, according to the Columbia Association’s announcement.

Flames may be visible from the plaza along the lakefront, the announcement said.

There will be no damage to the environment, according to the association.

All is within code, and the association reports authorities have notified the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
