Fire Suppression Tank To Help Battle Blazes

Crews will install a fire suppression tank in Fulton since the area isn't part of the county's water distribution system.

FULTON, MD — A 30,000-gallon fire suppression tank designed to enhance fire protection for Fulton and surrounding areas will be installed starting Monday.

The tank will be set up at Lallybroch Lane just north of its intersection with Lime Kiln Road in Fulton. The surrounding community isn't covered by the county’s water distribution system.

Weather permitting, the project should wrap up by late May 2026. The county stated it shouldn't impact traffic in the area.
