May Foo Fighters Concert In Howard County Canceled After Drummer's Death Revealed

The Foo Fighters have canceled the rest of their 2022 tour, which includes a May concert in HoCo, after their longtime drummer died.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The Foo Fighters announced on social media that they were canceling the remainder of their 2022 tour after their drummer, Taylor Hawkins, died last week in Bogota, Columbia, where the band was touring.

The band was scheduled to perform at the Merriweather Post Pavilion in May. Refund options have not been announced yet.

Hawkins played drums for the Foo Fighters for 25 years and was 50 years old. A toxicology report showed that Hawkins had several substances in his body, although an official cause of death has not been disclosed yet.
