The Food Market Eatery To Open In Downtown Columbia

The 5,000 square foot restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor dining.

COLUMBIA, MD — Led by award-winning chef Chad Gauss, a native Baltimorean, The Food Market will open in the Central District in downtown Columbia. Located at 10480 Little Patuxent Parkway, Gauss combines recognizable ingredients into amazing dishes. The restaurant will feature indoor and outdoor dining.

Combining recognizable ingredients with unparalleled technique, the 5,000-square-foot location will feature indoor and outdoor dining, and will bring its approachable yet innovative spin on comfort food through its value-driven menu. The brand has a long history of showcasing local artwork and creating opportunities and events to support the local community.

Menu items include such dishes as steak carpaccio with crispy oysters, charred ramps and aji amarillo tiger sauce; lamb chops; mozzarella sticks; crispy soft crab with whipped potatoes, charred corn succotash, bacon and dill and horseradish butter; and spaghetti and crab meatballs.
