Footpath Robbery, Pool Burglary, Ignition Stolen: Columbia Crime
Police said a swimming pool in Columbia was broken into, and so was a coffee shop this week.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent cases. Arrests do not indicate convictions.
There was a burglary at the Faulkner Ridge Pool. Police said that someone climbed a fence to get into the pool area in the 10500 block of Faulkner Ridge Circle. The burglary occurred overnight between Sept. 2 and 3.
Someone broke into Dunkin' Donuts in the 8700 block of Centre Park Drive. The door to the store was forced open. Nothing was reported stolen in the burglary, which happened around 12:54 a.m. on Sept. 1.

Two men assaulted and robbed two boys who were walking on the footpath between Sewells Orchard Drive and Dobbin Road. Police said the suspects took a cell phone and cash, and nobody was seriously injured in the incident, which happened around 10:30 p.m. on Aug. 31. One of the suspects was described as a black man with a goatee.
The ignition was stolen from a vehicle in the 8800 block of Tamebird Court overnight between Sept. 3 and 4.

Cash was stolen from a vehicle in the 7200 block of Life Quest Lane overnight between Sept. 3 and 4.
Theft from a vehicle was reported from Aug. 31 to Sept 1 overnight. It was unclear what had been stolen in the crime, which was reported in the 10300 block of Swift Stream Place between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1.
A purse was stolen from a vehicle in the 9700 block of Broken Land Parkway at 8:04 p.m. on Aug. 31.
