Fourth of July in Columbia: Where to Watch
The Howard County Department of Parks and Recreation is putting on the fireworks show in downtown Columbia.

COLUMBIA, MD — Howard County's annual Fourth of July fireworks show will launch on Independence Day along the Columbia lakefront.
Fireworks will start at dusk on Lake Kittamaqundi.
Beforehand, there will be live entertainment and food vendors on-site.

The Fourth of July celebration is from 5 to 10 p.m. on Monday, July 4, 2016. In the event of inclement weather, fireworks will take place on Tuesday, July 5. The event is sponsored by the Howard County Department of Recreation & Parks.
Little Patuxent Parkway will be closed from 7 p.m. until the end of the fireworks show. Parking is free. Fireworks will be on the Columbia lakefront, 10221 Wincopin Circle, Columbia.
