HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Anyone interested in buying a home can learn more about the process by attending a free homebuyer workshop in Howard County starting in November. The new program is sponsored by a $10,000 grant from Howard County Association of Realtors® (HCAR) that was awarded to Consumer Credit Counseling Service of Maryland and Delaware by the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR). A total of 30 workshops serving 450 participants will be offered both in person and via webinar to provide easy access to anyone.
“Howard County is an attractive and dynamic county, yet expensive to live in, but there are a lot of incentives and local programs that prospective homebuyers should know about,” said Jessica Coates, CEO, HCAR, in a statement.
