"Get Your Glo On" Attracts 200 Students

Middle School party at Columbia Gym raises funds for Grassroots

A party for middle schoolers, presented by the student members of the Horizon Councils and hosted by Columbia Gym as a benefit for Grassroots, attracted 200 attendees and volunteers for an evening of carnival games, music, dodge ball, basketball, scavenger hunt and other activities. Most students wore white to accentuate the glo face paint featured at the event. Proceeds were donated to Grassroots, Howard County's 24-7 crisis intervention center and shelter for the homeless.
