The Still Point in Columbia is Opening This Weekend

Behind the Whole Foods Market in Columbia, a peaceful movement has been underway for months as Haven on the Lake has taken shape in space that fronts Lake Kittamaqundi.

Haven on the Lake is a $5.51 million wellness retreat whose construction was supported by the Columbia Association to provide “restorative and health-enhancing experiences.” The facility will offer spa services as well as mind-body movement classes.

Local business The Still Point, which provides eco-friendly healing therapies in Clarksville and Takoma Park, is holding its grand opening at Haven on the Lake this Saturday.

The Still Point will offer the following during the grand opening celebration:

• complimentary acupuncture happy hour
• seated chair massages
• mini hand treatments
• eyebrow threading
• eyebrow waxing
• eyebrow and eyelash tinting

The Still Point at Haven on the Lake opens at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 10275 Little Patuxent Parkway in Columbia, behind Whole Foods.

Mind-body movement classes will begin at Haven on the Lake on Monday, Dec. 15, according to the Haven on the Lake Facebook page.
