Hello Kitty Truck Rolls Into Columbia July 18
The truck will park at The Mall in Columbia in the courtyard between Maggiano's between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m. Saturday, July 18.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Hello Kitty Cafe Truck will be rolling into Columbia Saturday, July 18. Launched at Hello Kitty Con 2014, the truck originally traveled Southern California to offer sweet treats to Hello Kitty fans. Saturday, the truck will park at The Mall in Columbia in the courtyard between Maggiano's between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m.
The bright pink truck will offer adorable and elaborately decorated mini cake sets, macaroon sets, cookies and giant chef cookies. The truck also will carry new merchandise for fans. The truck and staff also will employ new safety procedures, such as:
- Staff will be wearing masks and gloves inside of the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck
- Stanchions and social-distancing markers will be placed on the ground to encourage proper physical distancing for guests in line
- Counters will be wiped down with disinfectant every 30 minutes
- POS and payment readers will be wiped down every 30 minutes
- Hand sanitizer will be provided
- Contactless/cashless transactions
