Hoarding Conditions In Burning Jessup Home Present Challenge For Howard Co. Firefighters
Fire officials say that hoarding conditions made battling a townhouse fire in Jessup more difficult. Multiple residents were displaced.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD —A townhouse fire that broke out Wednesday in the 8100 block of Sheffield Court in Jessup proved to be a challenge for firefighters.
Described as "stubborn," the fire jumped over to two adjacent townhouses, causing extensive damage to all three homes, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
"The fire was brought under control quickly, but hoarding conditions in one of the homes made fully extinguishing the fire more time consuming," a fire official posted on Facebook.
