HoCo Firefighters Investigate Gas Smell in Columbia

COLUMBIA, MD – Firefighters are at the scene of a high-rise apartment building where a gas smell was reported in Oakland Mills Friday afternoon.

At approximately 4 p.m., officials said crews were investigating the odor of gas in the 5700 block of Stevens Forest Road.

BGE was also assisting at the apartment building, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.
