'HoCo Food Go' Tool Created For Residents During Coronavirus

Both Patch and Howard County have lists of area restaurants offering takeout, delivery and curbside pickup.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — In an effort to help residents know what area restaurants and bars offer delivery and carryout, Howard County officials have launched HoCo Food Go, a tool available online and via mobile device. Residents can see restaurants' websites, phone numbers, hours and locations.

“The coronavirus pandemic has been a disruption and challenge for all of us, but our restaurants and their employees have been significantly impacted,” said County Executive Calvin Ball in a statement. “By creating ‘HoCo Food Go’ our administration wanted to do whatever we could to help them persevere these tough times. We can assist many of our neighbors and friends by coming together and looking out for our local businesses and their employees. I’m incredibly thankful to every employee working in the food service industry from restaurants to grocery stores to delivery services. Your service is essential to our health and we appreciate the efforts of you and your families at this time.”

Patch also has compiled a list of Howard County restaurants open and offering carryout, delivery and curbside pickup during the new coronavirus pandemic.
