HoCo Friends & Foundation Floral Fundraiser Runs Through April 28

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Now through April 28, the Friends & Foundation of HCLS will be holding a floral fundraiser to help fund the purchase of a new mobile library van by the Howard County Library System, Called On the Road to Kindergarten, the van will take library collections, services and programs across the county, focusing on preparing children for kindergarten.

As part of the fundraiser, supporters can purchase a hanging flower basket for $35, a Sobar drink kit for $30 and a flower cookie kit for $30. Donations can be made through April 28 at friendshcls.org. Pick up will be on May 6 between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. at the Miller Branch at 9421 Frederick Road in Ellicott City.
