HoCo Pride 2020 Postponed Due To Coronavirus
The second annual Howard County Pride was set to take place June 27. The 2019 event attracted 10,000 people to Centennial Park.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The HoCo Pride 2020 has been postponed due to the new coronavirus in order to help prevent the spread of the virus. In the meantime, Howard County Pride will continue to offer online interactive activities, including story time, poetry slams and a talent show.
"We are excited to celebrate pride in Howard County in other ways until it is safe to determine a future date for HoCo Pride 2020," the organization said on its website.
The second annual Howard County Pride was set to take place June 27. The inaugural event attracted 10,000 people to Centennial Park in June 2019. The 2020 event was going to move to Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods in downtown Columbia.
