Holdup in Car Reported in Long Reach
A robbery, theft and burglary were reported recently in Columbia, Howard County police report.

COLUMBIA, MD – The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents.
A man was robbed at gunpoint in an acquaintance's car near Phelps Luck Drive at Tamar Drive on Wednesday, May 11. While he was inside the vehicle, a man he did not know demanded money and assaulted him. The man had a gun. The victim's watch was taken, and he was not injured. Police are investigating the robbery as possibly related to drugs.
There was a series of thefts at the park and ride in the 9600 block of Broken Land Parkway. Catalytic converters were stolen from multiple vehicles between 7 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, May 11.

Electronics were stolen from a residence in the 7400 block of Hickory Log Circle. The front door was kicked in sometime between 8:30 a.m. and 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11.
