Howard Community College Professor Wins National Honor

AACC has selected Professor Luda Bard as one of its 50 recipients of the inaugural Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty designation.

The American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) has selected Professor Luda Bard, who teaches biology at Howard Community College, as one of its 50 recipients of the inaugural Dale P. Parnell Distinguished Faculty designation.

AACC established this new designation to recognize individuals who are making a difference in the classroom. Bard has been teaching at Howard Community College since 2003, becoming a full-time faculty member in 2007. She holds bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and biochemistry from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Her master’s degree is in applied molecular biology, also from UMBC.
