Howard County Fair Celebrates 75th Anniversary Aug. 7-14

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The 2021 Howard County Fair will celebrate its 75th anniversary Aug. 7-14 at the fairgrounds in West Friendship. Fairgoers can enjoy a wide variety of exhibits and activities.

There will be hand weaving, photography, woodworking, arts and crafts, livestock animal judging, a bicycle contest, baked goods and candy, flower exhibits, a dog show, an obstacle challenge for horseriders, rides on the midway, a horse pull, a mule jump, square dance demonstration, live music, the pretty animal contest, fashion review, tractor pull, pig races, bingo, magic shows, skid loader rodeo, demolition derby and more.

The grand opening parade and 37th annual West Friendship Volunteer Fire Department Parade will wind down Midway Boulevard at 2 p.m. Sunday.
