Howard County Public Schools Issue Weather Alert

With some forecasts predicting up to a foot of snow will fall in the area, public schools in Howard County will be closed on Thursday, March 5, school officials announced.

The closure includes the cancelation of all athletic activities.

Here’s the announcement the school system issued Wednesday night:

All Howard County public schools are closed Thursday, March 5.

All evening activities in schools, both school-sponsored and community-sponsored, are canceled. This includes high school athletic practices and games.
