Howard Community College president Daria J. Willis has been named to the 2022 list of influential Marylanders.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Daria J. Willis, president of Howard Community College, has been named to The Daily Record's 2022 listing of influential Marylanders. The honorees were selected by the publication's editors for their contributions to their respective fields and for their leadership in Maryland.
“Congratulations to Dr. Willis on this well-deserved honor,” Christopher G. Marasco, chair of the board of trustees, said. “Your commitment to empowering students at Howard Community College is inspiring and the board of trustees looks forward to continuing to work alongside you to lead the college into the future.”
Willis said she was "humbled" to have been selected as an influential Marylander in her first year at the college.
