The January rabies clinic organized by the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center has been canceled.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — The January rabies clinic offered by the Howard County Animal Control and Adoption Center has been canceled and details about the February clinic will be shared once available. The center reminds pet owners that they must possess a rabies vaccination for dogs and cats age three months old or older, and ferrets four months of age and older, which is required by law.
The cost to obtain a rabies vaccine is $5. A county license for pets can be obtained for $6 for an altered pet and $24 for an unaltered vet; proof of spay/neuter is required. All pets attending a rabies clinic must be on a leash or in a carrier.
Anyone with questions can direct them to the center at 410-313-2780.
