An inmate at the state prison in Jessup was murdered, and Maryland State Police investigators say other prisoners are suspects.

JESSUP, MD — After an inmate was stabbed to death Sunday at the Jessup Correctional Institution, several other prisoners are being investigated as potential suspects, according to Maryland State Police.
John A. O’Sullivan, 43, was found bleeding from what appeared to be multiple stab or puncture wounds on the floor of the F building, where officers were called to a fight in progress after 10 a.m., police said.
Correctional officers quickly took several inmates into custody who were seen walking away from the victim, according to police.
