Knifepoint Robbery, Door Damaged on Cloudleap Court: Columbia Crime
Break-in at Oakland Mills High School, hearing aid stolen from home and other crimes were reported to the Howard County Police Department.

COLUMBIA, MD — The Howard County Police Department provided the following information about recent incidents in Columbia.
A door was damaged in the 8700 block of Cloudleap Court, reported at 1:28 p.m. on Aug. 30. Police said it was not known if entry was gained.
A man was robbed at knifepoint while walking in the 8700 block of Cloudleap Court at 8:27 p.m. on Aug. 28. Two male suspects approached him, one showing a knife. They demanded his things, then left with his cash.

There was a break-in at Oakland Mills High School in the 9400 block of Kilimanjaro Road. It was unknown when it occurred; officials said sometime over the summer, the suspect(s) got into storage containers by cutting the locks. Nothing was reported stolen.
A hearing aid and wallet were stolen from a residence in the 10000 block of Evergreen Avenue. The burglar(s) kicked in the garage door to get inside the home at 5:04 p.m. on Aug. 30.

A 2004 blue Hyundai Sonata was stolen from the 8900 Skyrock Court, reported at 12:12 a.m. on Aug. 30. The tag number was MD 6CK4415.
The back door lock was broken in the 8300 block of Tamar Drive, reported at 10:05 p.m. on Aug. 29.
A dirt bike was stolen from a shed in the 8800 block of Flowerstock Row, reported before 4 p.m. on Aug. 29.
A burglar got into a vacant home by damaging the door frame in the 7400 block of Hickory Log Circle between 12:45 and 1:15 a.m. on Aug. 29. It was not known whether anything was stolen.
Cash was stolen from a residence in the 10800 block of Clarksville Pike. Sometime between 6 and 11:30 p.m. on Aug. 27, the suspect broke a first-floor window to get inside.
A screen was cut at a residence in the 6400 block of Saddle Drive at 2:09 p.m. on Aug. 26. A stocky white man was seen on the deck of the home. He was wearing a blue baseball hat, white t-shirt and dark shorts and was described as approximately 5'8" tall and 25 years old. Nothing was stolen, and the suspect did not get into the home.
