Lake Elkhorn Robbery Suspects Left Bikes Behind: Police

Do these bikes look familiar? Howard County police want to know—and they're offering $1,500 for info.

The Howard County Police Department is asking for help identifying the riders of two bicycles found in Columbia.

The bikes were left near the scene of a robbery at Lake Elkhorn Park that happened on Labor Day, police reported.

Authorities say the suspects in the Sept. 7 robbery were riding the bicycles, which may have been stolen.

The robbery suspects were described as young black men with dark clothes and their faces partially covered.

Anyone with information about the bycicles or who was riding them during the first week of September may contact police at 410-313-STOP. There’s a reward of up to $1,500 for information leading to an arrest.
