Latino Health Fair In Howard County Oct. 9 Offers Vaccines, Health Services

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A free Latino Health Fair will be held Oct. 9 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Wilde Lake Interfaith Center, 10431 Twin Rivers Road in Columbia. Spanish speakers in Howard County can receive COVID-19 vaccines, flu vaccines, cholesterol testing, glucose monitoring, BMI and blood pressure screenings, educational material about diabetes, nutrition and physical activity information, educational material about dental and oral health for children, and the opportunity to talk with community health professionals, medical providers and wellness organizations.

The event is being sponsored by Howard County General Hospital and St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church.
