Liberatore Restaurant Is Coming To Maple Lawn: Report

Maryland's Restaurateur of the Year is opening an eatery in Howard County.

MAPLE LAWN, MD — The second Lib's Grill restaurant will reportedly open later this year in Maple Lawn.

The restaurant featuring steaks, seafood, sandwiches and burgers will welcome diners in Maple Lawn in early fall, according to Bisnow, which reported the 180-seat establishment was a response to requests for Liberatore's to come to Howard County.

John Liberatore was named the 2017 Restaurateur of the Year by the Restaurant Association of Maryland last month. Members of the association determine the award, which goes to someone with leadership in the food service industry who demonstrates originality, strong customer service and success in the eyes of peers.

The Liberatore family runs eateries in Bel Air, Eldersburg, Perry Hall, Timonium and Westminster. With the exception of the Perry Hall restaurant, they are under the name of Liberatore's.

When the first and only other Lib's Grill opened in Perry Hall in 2013, owner Nick Liberatore told Patch the concept was an "approachable atmosphere" with a chef-inspired menu and vibrant bar scene.
