The Mall in Columbia Hosts Job Fair at Wilde Lake High Oct. 3
Educational Partnership leads to internship and employment opportunities for students

The Mall in Columbia is hosting a Job Fair at Wilde Lake High School on Wednesday, Oct. 3, from noon-4 p.m. Representatives of The Mall’s stores and eateries will be on hand to discuss job opportunities and conduct interviews with interested student applicants.
The Job Fair is an outgrowth of the Educational Partnership formed by The Mall in Columbia and Wilde Lake High School. “The vision of the partnership is to create a community where everyone understands and appreciates the power of each individual to be a positive force with the community,” according to the Educational Partnership Declaration signed by Superintendent Michael J. Martirano, Howard County Board of Education Chairman Cynthia Vaillancourt, Senior General Manager Barbara Nicklas and Director of Public Safety of The Mall in Columbia Will Richardson, and Rick Wilson, Principal of Wilde Lake High School.
Among the objectives of the relationship is for The Mall to work with Wilson to identify programs and activities that strengthen the school community and to maintain regular contact with the school to share challenges and opportunities for students, such as internships and employment.
