Man In Critical Condition After Shooting At Cedar Motel In Jessup: Howard County Police
A man has been critically wounded in a shooting at the Cedar Motel in Jessup. The Howard County Police asks the public for more information.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A man was shot at the Cedar Motel in Jessup Friday around 12:45 p.m.
Police say he is listed in critical condition at the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center.
The hotel is located in the 8000 block of Washington Boulevard. Police do not believe the shooting was random, according to the department.

In 1994, a 74-year-old Silver Spring account was found strangled at the same hotel. His nude body was found by the manager of the hotel. His wallet and car were missing, according to The Washington Post, and a 27-year-old Hyattsville man eventually was arrested in connection to his death.
