Man Enters Guilty Plea In Armed Carjacking In Target Parking Lot: Prosecutor
A 23-year-old has pleaded guilty to the armed carjacking of a woman's vehicle in a Target parking lot, according to the county prosecutor.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — A 23-year-old has pleaded guilty to armed carjacking and use of a firearm in the commission of a crime of violence that unfolded Aug. 6, 2022.
At around 8 p.m., a resident called Howard County Police to report that her vehicle had been stolen at the Target parking lot in the 6100 block of Dobbin Road. Gotti Armstrong pulled in front of the woman's vehicle while a passenger got out of Armstrong's vehicle, went up to the woman who was in the driver's seat, pulled out a gun and demanded she get out of the vehicle, according to the Howard County State's Attorney's Office. The victim complied and the suspects drove off in the victim’s vehicle and the vehicle used to block her in.
Armstrong will be sentenced Sept 9.
