Man Fatally Hit By SUV While In Crosswalk In Columbia: Howard County Police

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Howard County police are investigating a fatal collision that happened Nov. 12 in Columbia where a person was hit and killed.

At approximately 6:05 p.m. Sunday, a 2014 Honda Pilot was traveling south on Cradlerock Way at Winter Rose Path when it hit a pedestrian in the crosswalk. The victim, a man, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

The driver and sole occupant of the Honda was uninjured and remained at the scene. The investigation is ongoing; no charges have been filed at this time, police say.
