Man IDed in Dorsey's Search Parking Lot Crash: Police
The Howard County Police Department is investigating a deadly crash into a tree.
ELLICOTT CITY, MD — The Howard County Police Department is investigating a fatal crash that happened near the Dorsey's Search Village Center on Tuesday.
Robert Terry Jones, 55, of Dalton Road in Parkville, was declared deceased at Howard County General Hospital after he crashed in the village center parking lot, police said.
Around noon on Tuesday, Jones was driving a Dodge Ram 1500 in the Dorsey's Search Village Center parking lot when the vehicle hit a tree. Police said he had been driving east in the 4700 block of Dorsey Hall Drive at the time of the collision.

Jones was the only person inside the vehicle, and officials say they are looking into whether a medical emergency preceded the crash.
Police said no roads were closed, and no other vehicles were involved.
