Man Wanted in Columbia Groping Incident

There's a warrant out for the arrest of Osman Geovany Martinez-Gonzales, police say.

Police are asking for help finding a man wanted in connection with a groping near the Owen Brown Village Center last month.

Officials have identified 22-year-old Osman Geovany Martinez-Gonzales as the suspect in a March 24 groping incident, the Howard County Police Department reported Monday.

Police say they have a warrant charging Martinez-Gonzales with a fourth-degree sex offense.

The warrant stems from an incident reported at 8:17 p.m. on March 24, when a woman said a man followed her from the Owen Brown Village Center on Cradlerock Way and touched her inappropriately, according to officials.

Through investigation, detectives identified Martinez-Gonzales as the suspect.

Police said Martinez-Gonzales does not have a fixed address and his last known residence was on Talisman Lane in Columbia. As of Monday morning, authorities say they have been unable to find him.
