COLUMBIA, MD — The annual Merriweather Symphony of Lights runs now through Jan. 1 at Merriweather Park at Symphony Woods in Columbia. The holiday tradition is open weekdays from 6 to 10 p.m. and weekends from 5 to 10 p.m.

Made up of more than 300,000 bulbs, this dazzling display of larger-than-life animated and stationary holiday light creations is a huge draw in Howard County. The one-mile drive can be paired with seasonal music played on the Symphony of Lights FM radio station.
