Columbia Teen Has Been Found: Police

Kaliyah Nicole Wright has been located, the Howard County Police Department reported.

COLUMBIA, MD — Police said a Columbia teen has been found weeks after she was reported missing. Kaliyah Nicole Wright, 15, has been located safe and unharmed, according to authorities.

Wright had been missing since the beginning of October.

On Oct. 29, the Howard County Police Department reported Wright had been found and was safe.

PREVIOUS REPORT: Police have asked for help finding a teen who went missing earlier this month from Columbia. Officials said that Kaliyah Nicole Wright, 15, has been missing since Wednesday, Oct. 3.

Wright is believed to have left home in the 5900 block of Harpers Farm Road on her own volition; but when she had not returned by Friday, Oct. 5, a family member notified police.

Detectives have been unable to find her despite issuing lookouts in jurisdictions nearby and conducting their own investigation, police reported on Friday, Oct. 12.

Wright is described as 5-feet-7-inches tall and 135 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about Kaliyah Nicole Wright is asked to call 911.
