HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Numerous Patch readers have been wondering if the elusive Remy was ever reunited with her heartbroken owner after the 10-pound black Labradoodle escaped the watchful eye of her pet sitter and was reported missing this week.

Owner Phoebe Serlemitsos told Patch that Remy is "quite scared and skittish all the time." She worried that Remy would continue to run from people and never be found. Remy was last seen near the entrance to the Fairway Hills golf course on Columbia Road and a neighbor had heard whimpering behind a creek near Serlemitsos' home.

Thankfully, Remy was safely captured in a trap the family had set up not too far from their home, Serlemitsos told Patch Tuesday.
