National Night Out Aug. 1 In HoCo Features Food Trucks, Music, Games, Activities, Giveaway

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Mark your calendars for National Night Out in Howard County.

The free event will be Aug. 1 at Wilde Lake Middle School (10481 Cross Fox Lane in Columbia) from 6 to 9 p.m. There will be food trucks, police and fire displays, a DJ spinning music, child-friendly activities, games, giveaways and more.

Anyone interested in planning a community-sponsored National Night Out party in their own neighborhood should register with the police department or fire and rescue services. Those local events must be registered by July 14 at https://services.howardcountymd.gov/hcportal...
