Tickets On Sale Wednesday For New Kids On The Block Concert At Merriweather Post Pavilion

COLUMBIA, MD — New Kids on the Block are hitting the road for The Magic Summer 2024 Tour. They'll be joined by DJ Jazzy Jeff and Paula Abdul as they trek across the country at mostly outdoor amphitheaters and venues including in Howard County at Columbia's Merriweather Post Pavilion.

With members Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg, Danny Wood and brothers Jonathan and Jordan Knight, NKOTB will kick off the tour at the Blossom Music Center in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, on June 14. The group then takes their more than 40-date run around the country, stopping in Columbia Aug. 16.

Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster to the general public Friday at 10 a.m. Block National Presale starts Wednesday at 10 a.m. while the CITI presale starts at noon Wednesday. Other presales are happening through the week.

The band will roll together elements of their original tour with their new production. The sold-out 1990 Magic Summer Tour included stops at outdoor venues such as Dodgers Stadium and Giants Stadium. On Friday, NKOTB will be releasing a revamped version of their iconic 2008 comeback album, The Block Revisited.
