Oakland Mills in Running for Ravens Visit
Four Howard County schools are contenders in online 'High School Football Showdown' contest.

Two Howard County football games are in the running for “High School Football Showdown” of the week.
Each week, the Baltimore Ravens and The Baltimore Sun spotlight a particular high school matchup based on responses to an online poll.
Contenders for the Week 7 showdown:

- River Hill at Oakland Mills (Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.)
- South Hagerstown at Fort Hill (Oct. 16 at 7 p.m.)
- Reservoir at Mt. Hebron (Oct. 17 at 1 p.m.)
Vote here.
The winner will have its stadium decked out with Ravens banners and flags for the game, where the Baltimore Ravens cheerleaders and mascot Poe will be in attendance.
Members of both teams will also get special t-shirts that say “Ravens RISE High School Football Showdown.”

The honor comes with a perk for the schools too; the Ravens will award $500 in donations to the athletic departments of both teams.
